The N7 collection embodies Nike’s Considered Design ethos and takes cues from Native and Aboriginal culture. The intent of the collection is to raise awareness for the N7 fund beyond just Native and Aboriginal communities.

The N7 logo symbolizes the importance of circular shapes in Native tradition and culture. Native peoples believe that everything in our world seeks to be round. Round like the rotating harvest and round like the Circle of Life. Like the rising sun and moon the logo’s circular shape is never ending. The quarter circles about the logo represent the four cardinal directions, the four seasons, and the four sacred colors of the Native Medicine Wheel.

Triangles and zig zag path are inspired by Native American and Aboriginal Art. These attributes symbolize moving forward to accomplish dreams and goals.

Turquoise is the color of friendship. Natives believe that since it has the blue colors of the sky and water along with the green color of the earth it attracts beneficial spirits. The turquoise stone is also known as the stone of blessings, good fortune, protection, good health and long life.

The sockliner draws inspirations from tribal arts and symbols. The design is symmetrical symbolizing the importance of balance. The step pattern represents different stages in life and is prevalent in many southwestern tribal arts. Overall, the unique N7 sockliner represents one’s path in life. CHOOSE YOUR PATH AND RUN IT.
